Youth Volunteers Trained on Trafficking and Safe Migration for Awareness Raising Activities

26 June 2016, Phnom Penh – Youth volunteers from Kon Khmer Koun Khmer (4Ks) and the ASEAN Youth Leaders’ Association Cambodia (AYLA) actively participated in a training on Trafficking in Persons and Safe Migration provided by USAID’s Cambodia Countering Trafficking-in-Persons (CTIP) implemented by Winrock International. These youths will apply this knowledge and information to their awareness raising activities including short film productions on these topics, community radio programs, a series of workshops and community forums. These activities are a part of CTIP’s behavioral change campaign aiming at preventing trafficking and promoting safe migration, which puts emphasis on youth engagement and activism to educate vulnerable individuals.
