Prosecution: Collaboration with International Justice Mission for Strengthened and Effective Prosecution
The USAID-CTIP program is working with International Justice Mission to enable victims of trafficking to access legal services and justice. This strategic partnerships furthermore aims to improve the outcomes of trafficking investigation and prosecution through strengthening criminal justice actors and inter-agency collaboration.
Through this partnership the program will mainstream counter trafficking-in-persons into Cambodian National Police training programs to create ownership and sustainability in prosecution, as well as providing anti-trafficking training to 700 criminal justice personnel. As as result, the program aims to ensure at least 150 TIP cases result in conviction and/or compensation during the project duration.
