Collaborative Workshop Strengthens Response to Labor Trafficking in Koh Kong

IMG_8122.jpg24-25 July 2017, Koh Kong – The Acting Director of the USAID Cambodia Office of Democracy and Governance Jean-Marc Gorelick, the Secretary of State of the Ministry of Interior H.E. Chou Bun Eng, and the Koh Kong Provincial Governor H.E. Mithouna Phouthorng opened a Workshop on Collaboration for Counter Labor Trafficking in Koh Kong province.

The workshop brought together provincial-level government officials, law enforcement and civil society to strengthen collaboration, share experiences and improve support for victims. The workshop is the second in a series of six provincial workshops being held across Camboda.

The two-day workshop is funded by USAID Cambodia’s Countering Trafficking-in-Persons Program through Winrock International and International Justice Mission in collaboration with the National Committee for Counter Trafficking in Persons.
