The victim had been deceived by both Cambodian and Chinese brokers to migrate to China, was forced to marry a Chinese husband, detained, and psychologically abused by the husband’s family. The rescue was operated through the Cambodian Human Rights and Development Association (ADHOC) after the family received a call from the daughter and filed a complaint to ADHOC on the 18th April 2016.
